Pfizer has been delivered a blow in its attempt to secure funding for Hympavzi under the National Blood Agreement (NBA), with MSAC knocking back the application after being unable to discern if the therapy “was good value for money”.
Hympavzi was one of two haemophilia treatments considered for funding under the NBA by MSAC at its April meeting, with a decision on Novo Nordisk’s Alhemo still pending.
