The backlash to AstraZeneca's decision to remove the monthly 3.6mg dose of GnRH agonist Zoladex from the PBS is not blowing over, despite assurances from the pharma that it will continue supply for those women who need it.
On Tuesday 7News ran an "exclusive" segment on the withdrawal, emphasising AstraZeneca is "a multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical company" and highlighting the experience of breast cancer survivor Rhiannon Abshoff, diagnosed at 32 when her son was just a year old.
