Next era of blockbusters unveiled

Three Eli Lilly drugs are forecast to make up nearly half of the total sales of the world’s top 10 best-selling drugs in 2032, with diabetes drug Mounjaro topping the list at US$45.5 billion.

The list compiled by Evaluate, shows the only drug that comes close to rivalling Lilly’s anti-obesity blockbusters is AbbVie’s Skyrizi, an injectable IL-23 antagonist, which will be the second-biggest selling drug in 2032, at over US$33 billion, given its potential to treat dozens of conditions.
