The European Commission has opened a formal antitrust investigation into claims that Sanofi disparaged CSL’s flu vaccine Fluad.
Sanofi allegedly ran a misleading communication campaign that portrayed Fluad as inferior to Sanofi’s Efluelda (branded as Fluzone High-Dose in Australia), contravening national vaccination recommendations in several EU member states.
