Novartis hit with first generic

Nova Pharmaceuticals has become the first company to register a generic version of Novartis’ antibacterial ear drops Ciproxin HC.

Ciproxin HC, first registered in 2008 is indicated for the treatment of acute bacterial otitis externa, caused by organisms susceptible to ciprofloxacin in adults and children aged two years and older.
