June PBS listings unpacked

A new fixed duration option for blood cancers plus a new adrenaline autoinjector are among additions to the PBS this month, with changes also made to the PBS listing for Amgen’s Blincyto.

AstraZeneca’s BTK inhibitor Calquence is now also reimbursed for use in combination with venetoclax (also known as AbbVie’s Venclexta) as a fixed duration regimen for the treatment of patients with CLL or SLL that have not already been treated with drug treatment.
