New Parkinson's drug approved

Accelegan has secured the TGA’s approval for Haruropi, a systemic transdermal Parkinson’s disease treatment patch.

Developed by Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical, the patch contains ropinirole, the same active ingredient used in Arrotex’s oral treatments for restless legs syndrome, such as Appese, Repreve, and Ropinirole ARW.
