Sanofi has secured another win, with NSW and Queensland following WA's lead in funding RSV monoclonal antibody Beyfortus.
Queensland is preparing for the winter RSV season, with the government announcing $31 million to ensure that from next month newborns are offered a dose of Beyfortus before leaving hospital, as well as providing it to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander infants less than eight months of age, and those with complex medical conditions, according to the RACGP.
