Company must hand over emails

Federal Court Justice Kylie Downes has given a boost to AstraZeneca's fight to maintain protection for its blockbuster heart and kidney drug Forxiga.

After AstraZeneca won a speedy injunction in February to stop Pharmacor launching its generic version of Forxiga , the generics company launched a bid to prove the patent term extension (PTE) covering the drug had been invalidly granted.
