Much-loved CEO suddenly passes

In a heartbreaking post, Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation has announced the “sudden, devastating” passing of its much-loved former CEO, Sandy Kervin.

As the Foundation’s CEO of three years, Kervin “led with strength, compassion, and unwavering commitment to those in the Duchenne community”, the peak body for Duchenne and Becker muscular atrophy, said on LinkedIn. She stepped down from the top job in January but stayed with the Foundation as Head of Advocacy and Research.
