Is this Big Pharma up for sale?

Business media is abuzz with reports Indian generics giant Sun Pharma is on the cusp of a $17 billion bid for Organon.

Indian newspaper The Economic Times, which first reported rumours on a planned bid back in January, on Friday cited sources claiming that Sun has decided to proceed with a $17 billion (US$12 billion) takeover of women's health-focused Organon, which spun off from MSD five years ago.
