Richard Vines steps down

Co-founder of Rare Cancers Australia (RCA), Richard Vines, is stepping down from his position as inaugural Chair at the end of the month, marking exactly a year-and-a-half since he passed the baton of CEO to Christine Cockburn.
The announcement also coincides with an update on Kate Vines health and treatment in her latest tilt against medullary thyroid cancer. Earlier this week, Vines revealed in a LinkedIn video that the theranostic treatment his wife received did not work and that their focus has been on managing her pain and letting her body recover.
