Novartis expands two franchises
Novartis has expanded its offerings in haematology and ophthalmology by adding a new formulation and brand name of its existing products, respectively.
The Swiss pharma giant has registered a 5mg/mL oral solution formulation of JAK inhibitor Jakavi under the same indications as the existing oral film-coated tablets available in four different strengths (5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, and 20 mg).
Additionally, the TGA has approved Novartis’ Aligeov, an additional brand of the company’s prescription eye drops Azagra, which contain brinzolamide and timolol.
