Ex-J&J boss lands 5th Country Leader job
Former J&J boss Gary Bird has been named the new CEO of the Perth-based sterile injectable hospital medicines supplier LumaCina.
Bird takes the helm as the company, part of the Bridgewest Group, is expanding its portfolio through an acquisition and licensing program and broadening its presence across Australian and international markets, LumaCina said. It supplies medicines including Morphine, Lidocaine, IV fluids and antiseptics to customers in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and northern Europe.
“What attracted me to LumaCina is the company’s values, the quality of its people and the opportunity to establish LumaCina as a global pharmaceutical company,” Bird said after being announced as CEO last month.
