The Federal Government is preparing for pharmas to follow the lead of BMS and MSD in seeking a broad listing for their cancer drugs, and has released guidelines for those considering a multi-indication listing for a PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitor.
BMS landed a recommendation for a broad listing for its Opdivo and Yervoy combo from the PBAC last September, with the Committee saying the history making multi-indication listing got over the line due to a revised proposal with a risk-sharing agreement. The recommended broad listing hit the PBS in March.
