TGA flooded with new drug labels

A massive 18 new indication applications were accepted for evaluation between March and April, with new cancer labels making up more than  half of the applications – and MSD leading the charge.

Two of MSD’s four applications cover the combination treatment of Keytruda and Welireg for the adjuvant treatment of adult patients with renal cell carcinoma with a clear cell component at intermediate-high or high risk of recurrence following nephrectomy, or following nephrectomy and resection of metastatic lesions.
