American biotech Iovance Biotherapeutics has officially entered the Australian market with the first T cell therapy for a solid tumour cancer called Amtagvi.
Iovance announced that the TGA has granted approval with conditions of Amtagvi for the treatment of adults with unresectable or metastatic melanoma previously treated with a PD-1 blocking antibody, and if BRAF V600 mutation positive, a BRAF inhibitor with or without a MEK inhibitor.
