Partner at Factory Capital, Anna Samuelsson, is spearheading a push to build business around peri- and post-menopause interventions, with the Sydney-based private investment firm committing upwards of $25 million to target the “largely untapped market”.
Based on high unmet need for proper diagnoses and treatment, the estimated global market potential for interventions that address menopause symptoms ranges from US$120 billion to US$350 billion globally, according to a recent report produced by World Economic Forum in collaboration with the McKinsey Health Institute.
