Cosette has been ordered to pay up for the legal costs of Mayne Pharma over the battle to avoid buying the company, a judge has ruled.
In October last year Mayne won a NSW Supreme Court case to force Cosette to follow through with its buyout of Mayne for $672 million, along with an order to pay the Australian pharma's legal costs. The buyout was scuppered after Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers put an end to the deal, but the costs remained.
