Should biosims be the default?

Sandoz has welcomed Federal Government moves to begin consultation on changing prescribing practices so that biosimilars would be the default medicines for new prescriptions.

The announcement was phrased in vague terms in the recent budget but picked up by those in the industry waiting for the news.
