You’d expect the rise of weight-loss drugs to spell nothing but bad news for chocolate manufacturers. But chocolatier Lindt & Sprüngli has announced a twist in the tale: premium chocolate sales are rising faster among US users of GLP-1s ?than in the rest of the population.
US sales of premium chocolate increased among GLP-1 users by almost 17 per cent ?in 2025, compared to a 6.5 per cent rise among non-GLP-1 ?users, according to an internal Lindt study based on data from market researcher Circana.
