AstraZeneca's needle-free influenza vaccine is getting public funding from one end of the nation to the other, but some states are missing out.
Western Australia is now providing AZ's FluMist to children between two and 12 years of age, with the state government spending $6.6 million to secure 130,000 doses of the intranasal vaccine. It provides the same protection against influenza A and B as injectable vaccines.
