Warehouse collapse hits supply

Posted 28 January 2026 PM

Queensland GPs are complaining of delays in receiving vaccine orders despite the state's health authorities insisting there is no problem accessing vaccines, after a floor collapsed at the warehouse for the only vaccine stockpile in the state.

In December a section of floor in the loading bay of the Toll warehouse in Richlands, Brisbane collapsed and slid down a retaining wall, according to reporting by ABC News. Toll closed the warehouse due to safety concerns, and due to the extensive damage will need engineering assessments to determine how and when it can be reopened.
