Access wait blows out to 726 days

The time between TGA approval of a medicine and PBS listing has blown out to an average of 726 days, leaving patients waiting longer than ever before.

For more than four years Amgen's Australian Patient Access Gap Tracker has measured the time between TGA authorisation, when a medicine is deemed clinically safe and effective for use, and PBS listing, when a patient gets subsidised access to that medicine.
