Global cost-cuts hit Aussie jobs

Ongoing global cost-cuts at Pfizer have hit Australia and news that an undisclosed number of local jobs have been lost was our top story this week.
The company has been implementing its cost realignment program since 2023 with savings getting deeper and deeper - starting at US$3.5 billion and growing to US$5.7 billion.
