Pharma boss wins business award

Arrotex Pharmaceuticals founder Dennis Bastas has been named one of the Australian Financial Review’s Business People of the Year.
Bastas has a private wealth estimated at $5 billion after selling a 25 per cent stake in Arrotex’s parent company DBG Health to US merchant bank BDT & MSD Partners for $1.6 billion in August.
