Pharma mood 'deeply pessimistic'

A new pharma sentiment index has exposed a "deeply pessimistic mood" across industry as it tries to forge a path forward through one of the most difficult times in decades.
The headline score for the inaugural Biopharma Sentiment Index (BPSI) sits at 78, well below the 'neutral' baseline of 100. The results for Q4 2025, were drawn from a survey conducted in October of almost 1500 Endpoints News readers, a quarter of whom were C-suiters.
