US President Donald Trump's latest wheeling-and-dealing will see the UK Government pay 25 per cent more for novel drugs - and now he's looking to other trading partners to follow suit.
Under the in-principle agreement the UK will pay higher prices for medicines in exchange for a tariff exemption on pharmaceuticals plus "mitigations" under Trump's Most Favoured Nation (MFN) drug pricing policy - ensuring it continues to access the latest treatments.
