More than twice as many Australians are living with metastatic breast cancer as previously thought, according to world-first data newly released by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.
According to the Metastatic breast cancer - first national estimates report released today by the AIHW, an estimated 20,800 women and 150 men were living with metastatic breast cancer in 2024.
