An Australian trailblazer in melanoma research, Associate Professor Ines Esteves Domingues Pires da Silva, has been named the inaugural winner of the Marie Krogh Prize for Young Women in Science.
The landmark initiative backed by Novo Nordisk recognises outstanding innovation, leadership and impact demonstrated by early- to mid-career career female researchers in science and medicine across Australia. Its aim is to help address gender disparities in STEM across Australia.
