A dark horse biotech CEO has emerged as the highest compensated executive in the industry in 2024, after cashing in some long-term incentives.
According to BioNTech's compensation report for 2024, CEO Professor Ugur Sahin was paid a total of $3.9 million (2.205 million euros) in 2024, including $1.2 million (700,000 euros) in fixed compensation. His long-term incentive was set at $2.0 million (1.15 million euros).
