The NSW Government is making changes to allow GPs to prescribe ADHD medicines, following in the footsteps of Queensland and Western Australia, and the Federal Government is now looking at the issue as part of its scope of practice reforms.
Currently, most people seeking a diagnosis of ADHD and medication to treat it must see a specialist, an expensive proposition that often involves long delays.
