'Role deflation' sweeping pharma

Australian pharma is in the grip of a modern epidemic called 'role deflation' where leaders are doing work that should rightfully be undertaken by their team - leading to burnout, disengagement and low productivity.
Director of Lighthouse Leadership Strategy and Training, Eric Miller, explains role deflation happens when people consistently operate one level below their actual job responsibilities.
