Gilead has the highest pay packets in the Australian pharmaceutical industry, at least among companies with 100 employees or more who report to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.
The upper quartile of employees at Gilead take home an average total remuneration of $545,000, more than two-and-a-half times the average for that quartile across Australian private industry. The pay at Gilead is high across the board, with the average pay across the pharma's 109 employees coming in at $315,000.
