The New Zealand Government is putting an extra $555.4 million (NZ$604 million) into Pharmac to fund up to 54 more medicines over the next four years.
Around 175,000 New Zealanders are expected to benefit from the additional treatments, which includes 26 cancer drugs, in the first year.
