Who's cracked America’s Best Companies list?

Despite the overall trend of tech dominance in the US, Eli Lilly and MSD have broken into the top 10 of TIME’s list of America’s Best Companies for 2026.

Indianapolis headquartered Eli Lilly ranked fifth with an overall score of 92.98 followed by MSD in ninth place with an overall score of 92.37.

To identify the top-performing companies in the US TIME partnered with Statista to evaluate and rank the most prominent firms in the country based on employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainability transparency. Both public companies and private companies that report their financial and sustainability data were considered.
