Pharma bosses call out work-life balance
Two senior pharma executives have called out the impossible expectations placed on industry professionals to achieve the perfect work-life balance.
“Work-life balance sounds good in theory, but it rarely holds up in practice,” former Lilly General Manager ANZ, Ben Basil, wrote in a post on LinkedIn.
Roche's Head of External Affairs International, Michael Oberreiter has also offered a frank opinion on the competition around 'going off grid' and 'totally disconnecting' - adding it's simply not for him.
