Who's at the PBAC's next meeting?

At its September intracycle meeting, the PBAC will consider eight submissions from pharmas, with three companies laying the groundwork to secure a broad PBS listing recommendation for their immunotherapies and follow in the footsteps of MSD and BMS.

AstraZeneca has the most submissions on the table at three. The committee will provide preliminary advice on AstraZeneca’s Imfinzi alongside Medison Pharma’s Libtayo and BeOne Medicines Tivembra for a broad listing for immunotherapy-sensitive advanced or metastatic cancers.

Each sponsor has provided a summary of clinical evidence, intended to support a future submission requesting a broad PBS listing, which the committee will consider and provide advice on.
