Melbourne biotech Aravax has been given US FDA Fast Track designation for its peanut allergy immunotherapy, PVX108.
The therapy uses seven proprietary synthesised peptides designed to retrain the immune system to tolerate peanut, while avoiding the acute allergic reactions associated with whole-protein immunotherapies, Aravax says.
