New rival to crash CAR-T market

BMS has submitted Breyanzi to MSAC, the first sign that the company is working to provide the CAR-T cell therapy to Australians with large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL).
The application set to be considered by MSAC’s subcommittee ESC in October before consideration at the November 2026 MSAC meeting, seeks funding for Breyanzi under the National Health Reform Agreement Addendum (highly specialised therapies (HSTs)) for patients with confirmed relapsed/refractory LBCL.
