Eli Lilly Australia today signed a three-way collaboration with Roche Diagnostics and not-for-profit medical research institution Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) to tackle the looming dementia crisis in Australia, and gather data for HTA processes along the way.
A memorandum of understanding between the three organisations aims to put into practice the National Dementia Action Plan which was released in 2024, piloting a new care model in NSW that integrates blood-based biomarkers (BBMs), imaging, and treatments into streamlined referral pathways, using standard, clinically registered diagnostics and therapies.
