CSL's next-gen tech ready for trials

CSL has announced Phase 3 trials in its efforts to increase the yield of its plasma facilities, with an eye on regulatory approvals.
The next generation process to produce immunoglobulin, Horizon 2, will enter clinical trials to confirm efficacy and safety starting mid-2027. The patented technology enables significantly greater production of immunoglobulin from the same base amount of plasma.
