GM tells why it was time to resign

In a heartfelt goodbye, Chiesi General Manager Melissa McGregor has opened up about the difficult and very personal decision to resign.

"From time-to-time, life presents us with a genuine sliding door moment. For me, that time is now," she said on LinkedIn.

"As a woman of a particular age, I find myself the epitome of someone in the so called “sandwich generation”. Supporting my parents, now in their mid-80’s, as they navigate very challenging circumstances well beyond those of normal ageing, being on point to provide significant support for a close relative with complex mental health challenges, while also supporting our adult children through their life journeys.
