161 adverse events sparks warning

The TGA has issued a warning to health professionals after identifying 161 adverse event reports related to AstraZeneca’s FluMist just days after the NSW Government expanded funded access to the influenza nasal spray.

The new needle-free vaccine is indicated for the prevention of influenza in children and adolescents aged 24 months to less than 18 years.
