Patient advocate named Governor

Former diabetes patient advocate Caroline Wells will be the new Governor of Tasmania.

“I cannot tell you how humbled I feel to be named the 30th Governor of our state,” Wells said last week, after Tasmanian Premier Jeremy Rockliff announced her appointment. “Life certainly moves in strange ways.”
