Copy of popular ADHD drug ticked

Maple Healthcare has become the first company to register a generic of Takeda Pharmaceuticals’ PBS listed ADHD drug Intuniv.

The TGA approved the copycat under all four available strengths (1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg, 4 mg) and under five brand names - Guanfacine Maple, Guanfacine MHC, Guanfacine Sandoz, Guanfacine Viatris, and Mapuniv.
