The PBAC has revealed it's holding back on giving a recommendation to drugs to treat obesity over concerns doing so will keep the price of the drugs high.
In a letter written to the Minister for Health and Aged Care, Mark Butler, dated 15 December 2025 but just released to the public, the Committee outlined its expectations that the obesity market would become more competitive.
