Drug repurposing deadline nears

With funding for the Medicines Repurposing Program (MRP) to be terminated in just over a year, the TGA has set a deadline of 30 April for potential candidates to join.
The MRP was announced as part of a broader community pharmacy reforms package in the Federal 2023-24 Budget and aims to improve patient access to medicines in Australia by identifying new indications for existing medicines.
