BMS takes access fight to NZ

Fresh from an historic reimbursement win in Australia, BMS has taken the fight over the ditch, with a new report spotlighting the agonising wait times for access to innovative medicines in New Zealand.
The most damning statistics reveal delays of seven to 10 years between regulatory approval from Medsafe and funding through Pharmac, for many medicines. This compares to six to 18 months in Australia and the United Kingdom.
