Two pharma giants have reopened old wounds over a contested trademark, with the global battle once again before the Federal Court of Australia, this time over the use of 'Merck' on a website and podcast.
The case began a decade ago, when MSD sued Merck over the use of the trademark in the United States, and Merck then counter-sued over the use of the trademark in a number of other countries, including Australia.
